The Hodag Country Cowboys and The Wild Bunch gather on the 2nd Saturday of the summer months at the Hodag Sports Club Rifle-Pistol-Archery Range off South River Road near Hwy 8 West in Rhinelander, WI from 9am until noon for a morning of shooting guns (and replicas) from days and times gone by.

The club provides a safe place for shooting the pistols, rifles and shotguns that you may have only seen in the movies.  This is a great opportunity to use these pieces in the spirit of the Old West.

The guns are based on late-1800s designs, and shooters wear period-correct clothing and accessories.  And aliases.  Shooters use "Cowboy names) to add to the immersion, e.g.: Biloxi Bill, Marshall Fire, Scum Bucket to name a few.
